On the 14th of August the club held another social event with the theme being "a night at the races". A great night was had by all who attended and more social events will soon be listed on the calender. Photos of the night will be posted soon.
The first social event of the football year was held at the Whakatane clubrooms which saw team players and supporters together in competition against each other. All four senior teams were included to compete in a series of rounds that included General knowledge, Music and Entertainment, Boxing vs the computer and Singing. Overall, a great night was had by all who attended and the final scores were very close with the Womens team just beating the Reserves squad to claim the title. With the success of this event, there are sure to be more organised later in the season. Invitations will be posted on this website when we have dates available. Enjoy these photos of the evening.
